Ella “Louise” Cater, 83, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Decatur, passed away June 30, 2011.
 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Dawson-Wikoff Funeral Home in Macon, IL with burial following at South Macon Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com .
 
 Ella was born in Decatur, IL the daughter of the late Ruth and William Storck. In February, 2011 she celebrated 60 years of marriage with her husband, Dwight “Buck” Cater. She attended St. John’s Lutheran School and Church in Decatur, IL and worked at the Decatur Signal Depot. She retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot, Avon, KY in 1976. She enjoyed her family and going to the beauty shop to visit with friends especially her hair dresser, Sheila. We will all miss her.
 
Ella was mother to Denny Denson (DiAnn), Florida, and Annette Cater Smith (Mikel), Lexington; grandma to Troy Denson (Jen) and Brian Denson (Lauren), Florida, and Ellen Smith and Ben Smith, Lexington and great- grandma to Bella Rose Denson. She is also survived by her sister Wilma Storck and sisters-in-law: Sarah Cater, Jean Barber, Dolly Doldo and Paulette Carter, and the many nieces and nephews she loved.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norma Neumann.
